Liverpool Community Radio FM
For one week I worked with Liverpool Community Radio as a presenter for their lunch time show 'The Daily Croissant'. During my placement I gained an insight into live broadcasting environments, learnt how to edit audio on Audacity and how to operate a radio desk. I also had a great chance to expand my industry network by interviewing and meeting a range of local organisations, charities and people from Liverpool who came to share their stories on the show.
Maria Eagle MP
In the summer of 2021 I had the opportunity to work with my local MP for Garston and Halewood, Maria Eagle. For two weeks I worked alongside her media officer Simon Cartmell to produce a variety of multimedia content including articles, videos and images. I also was able to get an insight into the PR world of political journalism and worked with community members to write letters and appeals to Parliament.
The Woke Agency
I have had experience editing videos for The Woke Agency, they are a UK based music festival group who aspire to bring niche genres into the country to not only share music, but inspire cultures to combine and share the same passion.
